GFEMS is a public-private partnership on a mission to coordinate a coherent global strategy to end modern slavery. Their new visual identity needed to convey their differentiated approach within a somewhat crowded landscape of anti-slavery/anti-trafficking organizations. With a primary audience of business executives and heads of state, the GFEMS team wanted their identity to be professional yet bold. To achieve this, I designed a more traditional leaning logo with a distinct, striking violet color. It’s simplicity conveys a no-frills seriousness that speaks to the issue and audience while emphasizing the organizational mission through strategically bold typography that also serves as a tagline.
